The Zoo is a 10-acre zoo in Gainesville, Florida. It is the only zoo on a college campus accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums! We really enjoyed our time checking out the animals and watching the students feed and care for them. Contributor: Mark Sutherin

The Mission San Luis de Apalachee that we visited today was a Spanish Franciscan mission built in 1656 in the Florida Panhandle, two miles west of the present-day Florida Capitol Building in Tallahassee, Florida. Beautiful facility & museum!!! Contributor: Mark Sutherin
